Our Commitment
Kelele254 is committed to accurate, fair, and fast reporting on Kenya, East Africa, and stories that matter to our readers. These standards guide every story we publish.
Verification
- We confirm facts from at least two independent sources before publishing, wherever possible.
- Breaking news is published with confirmed core facts only, and clearly marked as developing.
- Claims from a single source or social media are labeled as unverified until confirmed.
Corrections Policy
When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections are made transparently:
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are identified.
- Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date of the correction.
- We do not silently edit published facts without disclosure.
Sourcing & Attribution
We attribute information to named sources wherever possible. When sources must remain anonymous for safety or professional reasons, we explain why in the story. Quotes are never fabricated or altered in meaning.
Independence
Kelele254’s newsroom operates independently of advertisers, political parties, and commercial partners. Sponsored or promotional content is always clearly labeled as such and is never mixed with editorial reporting.
Images & Video
Photos and videos are captioned to accurately reflect what they depict. We do not alter images in ways that misrepresent events.
Report a Concern
If you believe a Kelele254 story contains an error or falls short of these standards, contact our editorial team at news@kelele254.com. We review every concern raised.
